I had a full hysterectomy when I was 27 years old (now 42). I thought it would be nice to try something that may make my vagina feel more like my age. I've noticed lately that It feels older during intercourse! (Poor thing!) So I was excited to try this new product from Vagisil. We care about our skin everywhere with 1 exception it seems.

I'm ready to talk candidly. It is the 21st century. It might alay fears of feeling "different" or "abnormal by talking more on intimate health. It may even save lives if women feel this is no longer taboo. My friends will share frank & honest opinions about the products later on.

This product comes in a handy little applicator. The gel is inside a small tube with a long-ish spout. To insert, break the cap off the end, lubricate the tip by letting a little bit of the formula out, slip the spout in gently and squeeze the tube so the entire contents go up inside your vagina. I thought the gel might slip out the moment it went in. (If you have sex without a condom, you will know what I mean, right? But I hope we all practice safe sex by now!) However, I was pleasantly surprised, it seemed to stay put & I didn't notice discharge afterwards. I have quite sensitive skin, so naturally I was a bit worried about using a treatment that would stay there probably longer than external gel. However, I've had no side effects. I've had intercourse after 4 applications & it really does feel different! I felt more silky inside, & the annoying mild irritation I have on the outside appears less angry. I don't suffer too much with natural lube but I feels softer too. It now feels reassuring to apply after my daily shower routine & only takes moments. The only thing that put me off was it's quite expensive at £11.99 (6 tubes). They say to use it every 3 days. (18 days per box.)
